At februari 23, 2012, a new FabLab opened just outside Paris: FacLab at l’université de Cergy-Pontoise, in Gennevilliers.
Bart Bakker (minifablab.nl) and Jaap Vermaas (FabLab Truck) took part in the roundtable about the future of Fab Labs at the opening. We also brought a small set of equipment, presenting the ultra-mobile fablab (it fits in the back of a Toyota Prius): a small laser running open source LaOS software, an Ultimaker and a small vinyl cutter.
The FacLab has a huge space inside the University. It's the biggest FabLab we've seen till now! We wish the crew of the new FacLab a succesfull start.
